8. Course Description Certified. Point to Point - Upson to Hurley; Paved and Moderate to Hilly -Elevation 1500 to 1700 ft.

Transportation: Bus from downtown Hurley to start line beginning at 5:45.

Packet Pickup and Registration: Friday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

At the Chamber of Commerce - 316 Silver Street.

9. Pasta Dinner Spaghetti Feed - 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

$5 at the door.

10. Expo None but there is a special Torchlighting Ceremony held on

Friday night to kick-off "The Paavo" weekend at 8:30 p.m. with music starting at 7:30 p.m.

11. Support & Spectators Great Support from Community

Spectators at designated areas only along the course.

12. Water Stations Every 3 miles first 18 miles; every mile thereafter.

13. Organization Very well organized by The Hurley Area Lioness & The Hurley Area Chamber of Commerce.

14. Porta Potties At Race Start and Along the Course.

15. Food at Finish Line Mojakka (Finnish Stew) with bread and fruit
