8. Course description - The course is very fast and flat. There are two hills in the course about

six feet high. It is an out and back course along the Rio Grande River or a big sand bar. The river is very low. It is nice to see so much of what they grow there. They had peppers, cotton, corn, lettuce, and pecan trees all over the course.

9. Pasta Dinner - Yes - at a small host hotel. The food was very good.

10. Expo - none

11. Support & spectators - Very few on the course

12. Water stations - Great water stops every mile and sports drink.

13. Organization - Very will organized

14. Porta Potties - Few on the course

15. Food at finish line - Not a lot - so you might want to have some with you.

16. Weather - low in the 50's and high in the 70's

17. Metals - Yes

18. Other races like Half, 10k or 5k - Half Marathon and a 5k

19. Airport - El Paso, TX about 1 hour to Las Cruses

20. Hotel - Best Western very clean and good location about 2 1/2 miles from the race
